Cold Fusion Energy: what is it? A short guide for iPhone, Android and mobile phone user
The idea of Cold Fusion first gained prominence in the late 1980s, with two scientists experimenting with a technology that had first been realized in the 1800s. Throughout the 1900s, scientists were experimenting with heat production from palladium, a rare metal in the platinum metal family.
A new world
Once successfully deployed, Cold Fusion, also known as Low Energy Nuclear Reactions (LENR), will turn the energy industry upside-down. Oil rigs will shut down, energy plants will cease to exist, and the average household will see
drastic financial benefits. In a time of economic turmoil, the inception of LENR could save countries millions of dollars each year.
And that doesn’t even take into account the benefit to our environment. Since Cold Fusion produces no radiation, it promises to be the solution to our planet’s environmental woes. Replacing nuclear power plants will not only save trillions of dollars, it may save the planet. Radiation from these plants is said to be contaminating water supplies, carbon emissions are eating away at the ozone layer, and potentially causing health problems among those who inhale dangerous gases from these planets.
Many solutions have been proposed over the years to replace nuclear energy, with Cold Fusion being only one. But an Italian scientist has created a device that may turn all
of this around sooner than anyone expected.
Cold Fusion today
Andrea Rossi recently announced the success of
his Energy Catalyzer. Working with technology developed by University of Bologna professor Sergio Focardi, Rossi developed a device that transforms nickel and other undisclosed substances into heat, which produces energy. Although details about the device are still top secret, pending patents in America and Europe, the technology has been providing heat in Rossi’s lab for months. Earlier this year a patent on the technology was issued to Rossi in Italy.
While awaiting additional patents, Andrea Rossi has been developing reactors. According to Rossi, these reactors all produce great amounts of energy while needing little energy input to operate. This low-energy alternative to traditional power sources can power a household with only a fraction of the cost of nuclear power.
Andrea Rossi says at best, his Cold Fusion reactor can produce 15,000 watts of energy with only 400 watts coming into it. Compare this to a regular reactor, which produces 500-2,000 megawatts of power. It is estimated that it takes approximately 700 pounds of coal to power one light bulb for a year. During this time, a power plant is emitting Sulfur Dioxide, Nitrogen Oxides, and Carbon Dioxide. It is Carbon Dioxide that is said to be partially responsible for the ozone layer issues that environmentalists are working hard to repair. Sulfur Dioxide and Nitrogen Oxides are said to be partly responsible for acid rain, with Nitrogen Oxide also causing smog.
Mining for resources
Each year, millions of dollars are spent on powering your house, the restaurants you dine in, and the building where you work. Miners extract coal, oil riggers dig for oil, and that’s not taking into account the millions of people who ship, distribute, and administer all of these processes. Andrea Rossi’s work with Nickel Hydrogen Fusion can save this country all of that effort, as his process uses less resources and costs less to employ.
As a result you’ll save money as well. Everything you use is expensive to power. Even the smart phone you carry around in your pocket runs on a battery that has a limited life. Cold Fusion could put limitless potential on all of our electronic devices, and in a world where our dependence on electricity seems to be increasing by the
year, this could be a welcome relief on your wallet.
Implementation
Andrea Rossi is already experimenting with powering his laboratory with his device. Next up? Shipping the device to other countries, where his technology can be
experimented with as a replacement to current energy sources. With Cold Fusion, people will need to see it to believe it and once the results are evident, implementation is likely to be fairly quick. Working with Sergio Focardi, Andrea Rossi is ready to revolutionize the world and change the future of this planet for future generations.
